Amazon MGM Studios has unveiled the first official image of Nicholas Galitzine as He-Man in the upcoming “Masters of the Universe” live-action film. The film, directed by Travis Knight, is slated for a theatrical release on June 5, 2026. The storyline follows a young Prince Adam who, after crash-landing on Earth and being separated from his Power Sword, returns to Eternia two decades later to reclaim his destiny as He-Man and battle the malevolent Skeletor. The ensemble cast includes Jared Leto as Skeletor, Camila Mendes as Teela, Alison Brie as Evil-Lyn, and Idris Elba as Man-at-Arms.
Filming commenced in London on January 6, 2025, with Fabian Wagner serving as the cinematographer. Recent set photos reveal Galitzine in Prince Adam’s signature attire, complete with the distinctive hairstyle and the legendary Power Sword. These glimpses have heightened anticipation among fans eager to see the classic ’80s franchise revitalized on the big screen.
