The Flash Review

The Flash delivers a fast-paced, action-packed journey through the DC multiverse, and Ezra Miller‘s portrayal of Barry Allen is one of the film’s greatest strengths. Miller perfectly embodies the witty, awkward charm of Barry, blending humor with heartfelt moments that connect the audience to his character. His portrayal highlights the struggle of balancing superhero duties with personal life, making Barry feel relatable and authentic. We loved Miller’s comedic timing, which adds much-needed levity to the film’s intense moments.

One of the standout aspects of The Flash is the introduction of multiverse variant superheroes, which allowed for exciting cameos from some famous faces. These appearances added an extra layer of fun and nostalgia to the film, keeping the audience on their toes, waiting to see who would appear next. Additionally, bringing back iconic actors from past Batman films, such as Michael Keaton, was a brilliant move. Keaton’s return as Batman hit all the right notes, giving longtime fans a satisfying blend of nostalgia and new, thrilling action sequences.

However, the movie does have its shortcomings. While the multiverse concept is visually ambitious, the CGI often feels subpar and distracts from key scenes. In some moments, it felt like the visual effects lacked polish, especially considering the scale of the film. This cheapened the overall experience, preventing The Flash from reaching its full potential as a visually stunning superhero epic.

Despite the CGI hiccups, The Flash remains an enjoyable film, driven by strong performances, nostalgia, and a story that keeps you engaged. It’s a must-watch for DC fans, but with room for improvement in future visual effects.
